New Cyber Leaders Conference being held Wednesday

A partnership between Dakota State University in Madison, the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, and the Better Business Bureau has resulted in the creation of a new event, the CLEAR Cyber Leaders Conference: The Intersection of Cybersecurity, Law, Education and Applied Research in the North Central Region.  The first ever CLEAR Conference is being held today in Sioux Falls. The event provides a venue for formal and informal collaboration and community building for individuals involved in these fields, to stimulate group discussion and impact future work.

Featured speakers at today’s conference are Jill Sanborn, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Minneapolis Division, and Dr. Mark Hagerott, Chancellor for the North Dakota University System. There will also be several panel discussions, lightning talks and posters, and three mini tracks on cybersecurity, cyber law, and cyber in business and industry.
