Lake County resident one of thirteen COVID-19 deaths reported Thursday
The state Department of Health reported thirteen additional COVID-19 deaths on Thursday. One of those deaths was a Lake County resident, bringing the county’s total number of virus-related deaths to 23. Overall, the state has had 2520 people die with COVID-19.
Active cases of the virus increased on Thursday as well to now more than 14-thousand, and the number of people hospitalized surpassed three-hundred.
Active COVID-19 cases increased in Lake County and all area counties. Lake County reported 138 active cases Thursday, while McCook and Moody counties each had 84. Kingsbury County reported 65 active COVID-19 cases and Miner County had 20.
