Madison Regional Health Celebrates Nation Rural Health Day

The National Organization of State Offices Rural Health and rural-focused organizations throughout the United States set aside the third Thursday of November to recognize National Rural Health Day.

To celebrate National Rural Health Day, Madison Regional Health System announced the honor of receiving the 2023 Performance Leadership Award for Excellence in Quality. Compiled by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards honor top quartile performance among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and/or Patient Perspective.

Madison Regional Health System exemplifies quality and the “Power of Rural” with its award-winning mission of a commitment to providing quality healthcare close to home.  The healthcare system attributes this outcome to the diligence of every employee, regardless of the department they work in, and the Board of Directors.

Kathy Hansen, Director of Quality, Safety, and Emergency Preparedness says we are doing everything we can to ensure our patients can succeed.  Valuing the quality of life for our patients means daily diligence.
