Dennert and Lindsay file petitions for Madison’s Mayor election; Wollmann and Ebsen file for Lake County election

There will be an election in April for Madison’s Mayor’s position.

Mayor Marshall Dennert filed his nominating petitions for re-election on Monday with the City Finance Office, as did challenger Roy Lindsay.  Dennert and Lindsay are the only two petitions that have been filed so far in the Mayor’s race.  The Mayor serves a three-year term.

Madison’s City Election will be held on April 12th.  Petitions for anyone interested in running for the Mayor’s seat are due to the Madison City Finance Office by February 25th.
