City approves resolution establishing Incidental Disbursement Account

The Madison City Commission approved a resolution during its meeting this week to establish an Incidental Disbursement Account for the city.  City Finance Officer Sonya Wilt told commissioners what this resolution establishing this account means for her office.

Wilt said the resolution authorizes the city to establish the account for advanced payment or for claims requiring immediate payment.

Wilt said that there are a number of transaction types and limits outlined in the resolution.  Â
