The Madison boys and girls swept a double header from Canton on Saturday, with each team picking up blowout wins. The Bulldog girls started the afternoon with a 67-44 win over the C-Hawks. Madison held Canton to just 25 percent shooting, while the Bulldogs hit on nearly half their attempts. Kendra Leighton scored a game high 22 points, Briana Steuerwald added 17. The Madison girls improved to 7-10 on the season with the victory, while Canton fell to 2-14. 

The boys game started off high scoring, with Madison leading 22-20 after the 1st quarter. The Bulldogs were able to keep the offense rolling the rest of the game, but Canton struggled to keep up. C-Hawks star Caden Verley struggled to stay out of foul trouble, while scoring a game high 23 points. Tyler Tappe led the Bulldogs with 22 points and 8 assists. Connor Hively and Keaton Nighbert each added 11, while Cody Brown scored 8. The win was the second in a row for the Madison boys, who travel to Vermillion tonight to take on the Tanagers.
