Winter storm to impact area through Monday

A major winter storm is headed our way this weekend, and if all the ingredients come together as forecasters are predicting, it has the potential to shut down travel region wide. The storm is expected to start later tonight.

National Weather Service Forecaster Aaron Dorn says that when the snow gets very heavy, Saturday night thru Sunday night, it will really pile up with forecasted snow totals of between eight and sixteen inches.

Dorn says it’s a very large storm system impacting several states.
