Winner drawn in IAUW, ERFCU contest

A Madison woman has won a five-hundred dollar gift card for her donation to the Interlakes Area United Way. Melinda Gorry of Madison was drawn as the winner of the Interlakes Area United Way and East River Federal Credit Union’s 15-x-15 Challenge. Gorry won a five-hundred dollar Visa gift card donated by East River Federal Credit Union.

As part of the United Way’s campaign drive, the 15-x-15 Challenge asked people to pledge at least fifteen dollars a month in 2022 and return their pledge form by November 15th. One-hundred-sixteen people qualified.

Interlakes Area United Way President Lori Gustaf said that this contest alone raised close to 21-thousand dollars toward their campaign.

This is the fourth year the United Way and East River Federal Credit Union have teamed up to offer the 15-x-15 Challenge.
