Another four new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Wednesday, as well as four more recovered cases.  The state Department of Health is reporting Lake County with 135 positive cases, with 112 of them recovered and six total virus-related deaths.  This means there are 17 active COVID-19 cases in Lake County at this time.

The number of new positive COVID-19 cases in the state increased by 168 Wednesday, while the number of active cases continued to go down.  Active cases are currently at 2434 in the state as of Wednesday, and 76 people are currently hospitalized.  No new deaths were reported in the state Wednesday.  

Other area counties’ active COVID-19 case totals as of Wednesday include:  Brookings County with 140, Moody County with 18, and McCook County with 11.  Kingsbury County currently has five active COVID-19 cases.
