The state Department of Health is reporting 36 additional COVID-19 deaths in the state Wednesday, including one each in Moody, Kingsbury, and Brookings counties.  The state’s death toll is now at 1147.  

The state also had 985 new positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday, putting the state’s overall total of positive cases at more than 88-thousand.  Just more than 16-thousand of the positive cases are active at this time, and 501 people are currently hospitalized. 

Lake County reports five more positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday, and 14 recovered cases.  Lake County now has 162 active cases, and 37 residents have ever been hospitalized. 

As of Wednesday, McCook County has 98 active COVID-19 cases, Moody County has 97, and Kingsbury County has 79 active cases.  Miner County currently has 35 active COVID-19 cases, and Brookings County has 412.
