Donors to Interlakes Area United Way’s current campaign drive may be rewarded for giving back.

People who take the United Way’s 15-by-15 Challenge will be entered into a drawing for a five-hundred dollar Visa gift card donated by East River Federal Credit Union. To be eligible, donors must pledge at least $15 a month in 2020 and return their pledge form to the Interlakes Area United Way by November 15th.

This is the second year the United Way and East River Federal Credit Union have sponsored the 15-by-15 Challenge. Sixty-nine people qualified in 2018 and Madison resident Taylor Bloom was drawn as the winner.

United Way President Lori Gustaf said that fifteen dollars a month equals 180-dollars a year, which is enough to buy free books for a year for six children through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, or can pay for a day of food and shelter for three people affected by disaster through the American Red Cross.

More information about the challenge can be found on the Interlakes Area United Way’s website.
