Lake County’s number of positive COVID-19 cases continues to increase.  The state Department of Health reports ten new positive cases in Lake County Tuesday, along with eight recovered cases.  This puts the number of active cases in Lake County currently at 95.  Overall, the county has had 362 positive COVID-19 cases, with 259 of them recovered and eight deaths.

Statewide, new positive cases increased by close to one-thousand Tuesday.  The state reports a total of 40-thousand-730 positive cases, with more than 11-thousand of them active at this time.  There are currently 395 people hospitalized because of the virus, and no new deaths reported on Tuesday.  

In our area Tuesday, Moody County reports 73 active COVID-19 cases, Kingsbury County has 67, and McCook County has 65 active cases.  Miner County reports 60 active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday, and Brookings County has 376.
