Thursday COVID-19 update: 10 deaths in state; 2 new positive cases in Lake County

Another ten COVID-19 deaths are being reported by the state Department of Health Thursday.  This brings the state’s total number of COVID-19 deaths to 1614.  The state is reporting 317 new positive COVID-19 cases, just more than 47-hundred active cases, and 247 people are currently hospitalized because of the virus.

Lake County reports two new positive COVID-19 cases and two more recovered cases Thursday.  Lake County’s number of active cases remains at 49.

Elsewhere in our area, Kingsbury County has 34 active COVID-19 cases, Moody County reports 33, and McCook County has 28 active COVID-19 cases as of Thursday.  Miner County reports 26 active cases, and Brookings County – 234.
