State reports four more COVID-19 deaths Thursday; total positive cases increase by 60

Another four Minnehaha County residents have died from COVID-19.  The state Department of Health Thursday reported four more coronavirus-related deaths, putting the state’s total at 43.  All but five of the total number of deaths in the state are from Minnehaha County.

The state also is reporting another 60 new positive COVID-19 cases Thursday and an additional 70 who have recovered from the virus.  The number of people hospitalized increased Thursday also to 85.  The state reports 1312 active cases.  One of those active cases in our area is in Lake County, one is in McCook County, and 8 are in Moody County.
