State reports 16 COVID-19 deaths Wednesday; one in Miner County

Another sixteen COVID-19 deaths were reported by the state Department of Health on Wednesday, putting the state’s overall total at 2758 since the start of the pandemic.  One of the deaths was a Miner County resident.  

Active coronavirus cases decreased statewide to just below ten-thousand, and 240 people with the virus are currently hospitalized. 

As of Wednesday, Lake County’s number of active cases decreased to 69, and the county has had a total of 27 residents die with COVID-19.  Miner County currently has six active cases and has had thirteen virus-related deaths.
