Snow alert in effect in City of Madison

A snow alert is currently in effect in the City of Madison.  The snow alert went into effect at midnight and city crews began plowing around 2:00 this (Monday) morning.  

City residents need to have vehicles removed from city streets and city-owned parking lots while the snow alert is in effect.  Parking in these areas is not allowed again until the snow alert has been lifted and the snow has been cleared from curb to curb.
