Second positive COVID-19 case reported in Lake County

Lake County is now reporting a second positive COVID-19 case.  In numbers released Wednesday morning by the state Department of Health, two positive cases are now being reported in Lake County.  The total number of positive coronavirus cases in the state jumped to 393 today, up 73 from Tuesday. There are 228 positive cases now in Minnehaha and 31 in Lincoln counties.

The state reports that 146 people have recovered from the virus so far, that’s up 48 from Tuesday’s numbers.  Overall, there have been 26 people hospitalized due to the virus.  Six people in the state have died from COVID-19.
