SD Office of Highway Safety & SD Broadcasters Association Team Up for Lesson Learned
Car crashes are the #1 cause of death for teenagers and new drivers are particularly vulnerable. That’s why the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety and the South Dakota Broadcasters Association teamed up to create the “Lesson Learned” campaign in 2016 to help keep students safe by discouraging distracted driving. The campaign awards a significant cash prize to student participants and also to the school from where they applied.
Teens ages 14-19 can go to lessonlearnedsd.com and take a 2 minute quiz to be eligible to win $10,000, plus win an additional $10,000 for a school sponsored club or activity of their choice.
