Railroad Day is Saturday at Prairie Village

Saturday is Railroad Day at Prairie Village.  

Rides will be available all day Saturday on the train, Doodlebug, motorcars and carousel.  

A South Dakota Railroad presentation by Rick Mills entitled “Fifteen Decades of Dakota Railroading” will take place at 1:00 Saturday afternoon.  This program is sponsored by the South Dakota Humanities Council, which is an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Admission to Railroad Day at Prairie Village is five dollars for adults and two dollars for kids ages six-to-twelve.  Prairie Village season passes will be accepted for Saturday’s event.
