Prize money offered for high school students entering teen safe driving campaign

High School students in the state have until this Saturday to enter this year’s Lesson Learned teen safe driving campaign.

State Office of Highway Safety Director Amanda Kurth said this is the sixth year of the joint effort by her agency and the South Dakota Broadcasters Association.

Kurth said it shouldn’t take long for eligible students to get registered.

As an incentive, the South Dakota Broadcasters organization is providing 20-thousand dollars in prize money.

Kurth said students can also share the quiz with friends to get extra entries into the prize drawing.

To participate, students must take the safe driving quiz at https://drivesafesd.com/lesson-learned. Once completed, their names will be entered into the drawing.
