Positive COVID-19 cases increase by 85 over weekend

Positive COVID-19 cases in the state increased by 85 over the weekend to a total of 7063.  The state Department of Health reports that of those, there are currently 903 active cases, which is up by 71 from Friday.  There were no new deaths from COVID-19 reported this past weekend, and 58 people are currently hospitalized.

Lake County continues to have three active cases at this time, with 681 negative tests.  McCook County has five active COVID-19 cases currently, and Miner and Moody counties each have four.  Brookings County’s number of active positive coronavirus cases increased to 25.
