No more new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Thursday, according to information from the state Department of Health.  Lake County has had 17 positive cases so far, with 12 of them recovered and one reported death.  There are currently four active COVID-19 cases in Lake County, and a total of 580 negative tests.

Overall, statewide COVID-19 cases increased by 59 Thursday to a total of 6109.  810 of those cases are active, 93 people are hospitalized, and 78 people have died from the virus.

Brookings County continues to see an increase in its positive COVID-19 cases.  Thursday’s information from the state Department of Health has Brookings County with 17 active cases, up from 12 on Wednesday.  

Elsewhere in the area, Moody County has two active COVID-19 cases currently, and Miner and McCook Counties each have one.  All of the positive cases in Kingsbury County are now reported as recovered.
