MRHF Virtual Winter Gala is Friday

Like many events have had to do during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Madison Regional Health Foundation’s annual Winter Gala has gone virtual.  This year’s Winter Gala is now a pre-recorded program which will be streamed on the Foundation’s Facebook page and website, and aired on KJAM AM 1390, at 7:00 p.m. this Friday night.

Foundation Director Beth Knuths said that the virtual event – entitled “Fulfilling the Vision…from Home” – is a way for the whole community to participate and support local healthcare.

Knuths said that the event is also a way to show Madison Regional Health’s appreciation for the communities that have supported them in a number of ways during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said the annual Gala normally serves as a fundraising event for the Foundation, but this year it’s taking a little different route.

The Madison Regional Health Foundation has been conducting its annual raffle as part of the event, and the winners of the raffle prizes will be announced during Friday’s program.

Knuths hopes the community will also take part in a special tribute to area healthcare workers and first responders at the end of Friday’s Gala.

Knuths said that DSU is also planning something special as part of the Pause for Applause event.

Again, the Madison Regional Health Foundation’s virtual Winter Gala can be heard on KJAM AM 1390 and also on the Foundation’s website and Facebook pages starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Â
