More Candidates File for Lake Co. Offices

Two more candidate petitions were received on Thursday at the Lake County Auditor’s office. Charlie Johnson turned in his petition for election to the Lake County Commission. Johnson is the first democrat to file for one of the three open seats on the commission. Four republicans have so far filled, including Ryan Gebauer, and current commissioners Dennis Slaughter, Adam Leighton and Deb Reinicke.

Also Thursday, Aaron Johnson filed for a four year term as Conservation District Supervisor.
