The state Department of Health reported two additional COVID-19 deaths on Monday, putting the state’s overall death toll at 1960.  One of the deaths was a McCook County resident. 

The state reported just under one-hundred new positive COVID-19 cases.  Active cases in the state decreased some to just more than 18-hundred, and the number of people hospitalized because of the virus decreased to 96.

Lake County reported four new positive COVID-19 cases Monday, increasing the county’s number of active cases to 29.  

Kingsbury County had 23 active cases as of Monday, Moody County reported 13, McCook County – 7, and Miner County had two active COVID-19 cases.

Brookings County reported 133 active cases yesterday.
