Lake County has another six positive COVID-19 cases Monday.  The state Department of Health reports 304 total positive COVID-19 cases in Lake County, with 218 recovered and eight total deaths.  This puts the number of active cases in the county Monday at 78.  The state reports that sixteen Lake County residents have ever been hospitalized because of COVID-19.

Statewide, 567 new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported Monday, putting the state’s overall total at more than 33-thousand-800.  The number of active cases in the state increased also to 8388, and 304 people are currently hospitalized.  The state reports no new virus-related deaths Monday.  

Elsewhere in our area, Brookings County reports 333 active COVID-19 cases Monday, and Miner County reports 70.  There are currently 57 active cases in McCook and Kingsbury counties, and 52 in Moody County.
