Miner County reports first positive COVID-19 case; state's total increases to 536

New positive COVID-19 cases in the state has increased by 89 Friday. Numbers released by the state Department of Health show a total now of 536 total positive COVID-19 cases in the state. In our area, Miner County is reporting its first positive case, while Lake County remains at two cases, with one of those listed as recovered.

Minnehaha County saw an increase today of 78 cases, bringing that county’s total now to 352.

No more deaths from the virus have been reported, but there has now been a total of 29 hospitalizations overall. 177 people in the state have recovered from COVID-19.
