Two Madison women are among a group of nineteen state residents who have been selected to the 2021-2022 South Dakota Change Network.

Lisa Martin and Patty Bordeaux Nelson, both of Madison, are a part of the Change Network.  The South Dakota Change Network is a year-long learning experience in support of individuals leading projects to drive positive change in their organizations and communities.  Through a curriculum of online and in-person meetings, self-directed lessons, interactive exercises and discussion groups, participants gain proven leadership techniques and explore collaborative opportunities critical to their project’s long-term success.

One of the projects for this year’s group includes a cooperative at the Cheyenne River Reservation supporting youth involvement in Lakota culture through agriculture and horsemanship.
