Madison to hold Memorial Day program

Monday is Memorial Day – a day set aside to honor and remember those who died in the nation’s wars.  A Memorial Day program will be held in Madison on Monday morning.  The program will start at 11:00 a.m. Monday on the lawn of the Lake County Courthouse.  The VFW and American Legion will conduct a short Memorial Day program with an Honor Guard presentation.  If there is bad weather Monday, the program will be held at the Ronald Westby VFW Post 2638 in Madison. 

The Avenue of Flags will also be posted at the Courthouse at 7:00 Monday morning, weather permitting.
