Madison School Board Agenda

The Madison Central School Board will hold their regular meeting tonight at 5:30 PM. Some items on the agenda include the presentation of the Associated School Boards of South Dakota Gold Award to the Madison School Board. They will also be considering a  wrestling co-op with Oldham-Ramona-Rutland.

 

The board will also consider a number of resolutions addressing the state teacher shortage. Those resolutions include a state-funded program for an undergraduate scholarship for education majors, as well as the creation of a state-funded Teach for South Dakota Academy for public school teachers holding an alternative certification, to assist in their completion of requirements for full certification.

 

The board will also be accepting the resignation of Dennis Dennert. These items and more make up the agenda for the Madison school board meeting tonight at 5:30 PM.
