Madison MasterSingers Spring Concerts

The Madison MasterSingers will return next week with their 2023 spring concerts on March 31st and April 2nd, over Palm Sunday weekend.

Charlotte Groce, the MasterSingers Board President says that their director, Yvonne Dietterle, “Has selected songs that range from traditional to contemporary, but they blend together to tell the Lenten and Easter story beautifully.”

In addition to Dietterle, the group’s accompanist is Jane Utecht, and instrumentalist Christie Perry of Madison is a featured guest artist.

Madison MasterSingers are a community choir group that has been around since 1988. They include amateur singers, music educators, and church choir members of all ages, who present a variety of choral works at Christmas and spring concerts.

The 35 singers for this season come from Madison, Howard, Salem, and Montrose.

The public is invited to attend the concerts, which are slated for Friday, March 31st at 7:30pm at Bethany Lutheran Church in Howard, and on Sunday, April 2nd at 4:30pm at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madison.
