Madison City & Madison Central School Board election is Tuesday

Election Day is Tuesday, April 12th for Madison City and Madison Central School Board voters.  Voters in the City of Madison will select the next Mayor for Madison.  The two candidates on the ballot are incumbent Mayor Marshall Dennert and former mayor Roy Lindsay.  The top vote-getter in Tuesday’s election will go on to serve a three-year term as Mayor of Madison.

Voters in the Madison Central School District will elect three school board members in tomorrow’s election.  There are five candidates on the ballot, including incumbents Keith Bundy and Tom Farrell and challengers Lynsee Planting, Jordan Schuh, and Kirsti Meyer.  The top three vote-getters in the school board election will also serve three-year terms on the Madison Central School Board.

The joint Madison City and Madison Central School Board election is held at the downtown Madison City Armory on Tuesday, with polls open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Early voting can be done yet Monday in the City Finance Office or Madison Central Business Office.
