Madison City Commisson talkes Public Nuisance and Grant Funding for Childcare facility
The Madison City Commission held their meeting earlier this week. The commissioners held their first reading of Ordinance Number 1666 which relates to amending the public nuisance process. City Administrator Jameson Berreth talks more about the ordinance.
The commission also held a hearing and approved the Community Development and Housing Needs Assessment, which is the assessment needed for the next steps in potentially obtaining grant funding for building a new childcare facility in Madison. Berreth explains.
Berreth also spoke on the Recreation Trail Master Plan, which is a plan to renovate several trails in and around the Madison area.
Final Decision regarding the Recreation Trail Master Plan will take place at the next meeting on April 1st.Â
Some other items discussed at the meeting were the board of equalization meeting that occurred just before the Madison commission meeting as well as awarding bids for a new security system to be implemented in the new City Administrative Building   Â
