Madison City Commission to Discuss Another TIF and City’s 2023 Infrastructure Projects

The Madison City Commission will discuss the creation of another new Tax Increment District during their meeting tonight. The newest TIF is for the expansion of FoxPromo, Madison Physical Therapy, Global Polymer, and the development of Contractor’s Condos. 

Also at tonight’s meeting, commissioners will acknowledge the bid date for the City Administrators building, and authorize the Mayor to sign & execute a Grant Agreement for Airport Improvement Program and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Commissioners are also expected to authorize the Mayor to sign a Law Enforcement Officer Certification Agreement with Kaylee Mehlum, to serve as a probationary Law Officer, and sponsor the officer in the South Dakota Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy. 

There will also be an update on the City’s 2023 infrastructure improvement projects. 

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 tonight in the Commission room in Madison City Hall.
