Madison City Commission meeting Tuesday

The Madison City Commission holds its first meeting of the new year Tuesday.  

Commissioners are scheduled to take action on several annual business items, along with approving the second reading of an ordinance amending the city’s appropriation ordinance for Fiscal Year 2022.  

Also on the agenda for the city commission is a resolution providing for the creation of Tax Increment District Number Four, and the approval of a project plan for it.  Commissioners will also meet with Lake Area Improvement Corporation Executive Director Brooke Rollag to discuss potential locations for a daycare facility, and approve the Madison Municipal Airport Selection Committee’s recommendation for Engineering and Aviation Planning services.  The commission today will also establish the 2023 election date and invite the Madison Central School District to participate in a joint election.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall.  The meeting is also accessible through Zoom.
