Madison City Commission meeting Monday
The Madison City Commission holds its weekly meeting later today.
Some of the items on the agenda for the commission include a right-of-way certificate for USDA Rural Development for the city’s water system improvement project, and an acknowledgement letter for Dougherty & Company LLC for the placement agent water revenue bond.
Commissioners are also scheduled to consider several resolutions. One approving a legal services agreement, one authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of a revenue bond, one authorizing a bond anticipation note, and another resolution authorizing a grant anticipation note.
The commission today will also adopt a resolution amending the established employee compensation for 2020, and approve first reading of the city’s ordinance on lawn maintenance violations.
An executive session to discuss personnel matters is scheduled for the end of today’s meeting.
The Madison City Commission meeting is scheduled for 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
