Madison City Commission meeting Monday

The Madison City Commission has a number of items on its agenda for its regular meeting Monday.

Commissioners are scheduled to consider a survey certification form for the Madison Public Library for the 2020 South Dakota Public Library Survey, and they will approve the advertisement for bids for the city’s water system improvements, including Phase 1-B, Phase-2, and Water Tower Loop Line.  Also on the agenda for the commission is an application from Sundog Coffee for a permit to occupy right-of-way for outdoor seating at its location on South Egan Avenue.  Commissioners are also scheduled to consider sidewalk extension requests for two properties on North Olive Avenue, reconsider design plans on the water main improvement project, and appoint an election board.

An executive session to discuss personnel is scheduled for the end of Monday’s meeting.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall and also through the use of Zoom.
