Madison City Commission and Madison Central School Board set April election date

The Madison City Commission and Madison Central School Board have set a joint election date for this spring.  If an election is needed for either the city commission or school board, or both, it will be held on Tuesday, April 11th.

For the Madison City Commission, there are two seats up for election this year – Adam Shaw and Jerae Wire.  City commissioners serve three-year terms.  

There are also two seats open on the Madison Central School Board.  Richard Avery and Rob Honomichl’s terms are up for election this year.  School Board members also serve three-year terms.  

Anyone interested in serving on either the city commission or Madison Central School Board can start circulating nominating petitions on January 27th.  The deadline for nominating petitions to be filed is February 24th.
