The Madison Central School District reported two new positive COVID-19 cases within the district.  On Tuesday, the district reported that a student or staff member at Madison High School and a student or staff member at Madison Middle School had tested positive for COVID-19.  Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said that the school is working with the state Department of Health to determine if there are any additional students who would be considered close contacts.  

The last positive COVID-19 case within the Madison Central School District was reported more than three weeks ago on January 22nd. The district has had 105 recovered cases – 69 students and 36 staff members – since September.
