A positive case of COVID-19 has been reported within Madison High School.  Madison Central Superintendent Joel Jorgenson informed parents Sunday that a student or staff member at Madison High School has tested positive for COVID-19.  Jorgenson said the school district is working with the state Department of Health to determine if there are any additional students who would be considered close contacts.  Parents of anyone considered a close contact will be notified by the school district and the state Department of Health.

This case reported Sunday brings the district’s overall total number of positive cases this school year to 21 since the first case was reported in early September.
