Lewis & Clark Regional Water System to start work on final segment of Madison service line

The Lewis and Clark Regional Water System’s Board of Directors last week announced the awarding of a contract for a portion of the pipeline needed to connect the city of Madison to the pipeline.  Executive Director Troy Larson said this will be the final segment for the service line to Madison.

Larson said they are seeing rising costs with the contracts.

He said that the city of Madison has been waiting a long time to get water from the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System.

The pipeline could be delivering water to the city of Madison by mid-2024.
