Lake County reports six new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday; active cases and hospitalizations decrease statewide

Active cases of COVID-19 decreased in the state Tuesday to below 500, while the number of people hospitalized also decreased down to 41.  The state Department of Health reported 81 new positive COVID-19 cases and no new virus-related deaths yesterday.

Lake County reported six new positive COVID-19 cases and five recovered cases on Tuesday, putting the county’s number of active cases currently at twelve.
