Lake County reports additional positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday

Two more positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Wednesday.  The state Department of Health shows Lake County has ten total COVID-19 cases, with seven of them recovered, so three active cases at this time.  The state is not showing community spread in Lake County currently, and there have been 292 negative tests.

Elsewhere in the area, Kingsbury County now has two active cases, according to the state Department of Health on Wednesday, and Moody and Brookings County each have four active cases currently.  McCook and Miner counties each have one active COVID-19 case.

The state reports a total of 95 new positive coronavirus cases Wednesday, putting the state’s total to date at 5162.  Of those, there are currently 1016 active cases and 87 people hospitalized.  62 people in the state have died from COVID-19.
