Lake County Commission meeting Tuesday

The Lake County Commission has a number of items on its agenda for its next regular meeting on Tuesday.  

Commissioners are scheduled to meet with Mark Junker of Banner Engineering regarding bridge inspections at 9:15 tomorrow morning, and will hold a public auction of surplus property acquired by tax deed at 9:30.  They will meet with Dan Lederman of Summit Carbon Solutions regarding a proposed pipeline at 9:45, and will discuss a couple of variances and several plats with Zoning Officer Mandi Anderson at 10:00.  At 10:30 Tuesday morning, county commissioners are set to meet with Austin Kestaloot with the Madison Central FFA regarding a 4-H rental application for April of 2022. 

Several county department heads will also meet with commissioners Tuesday morning, including 911 Director April Denholm regarding personnel, and Buildings and Grounds Superintendent Dave Hare and Emergency Manager Kody Keefer for their department’s quarterly reports.  Keefer will also discuss the 2021 Homeland Security Grant Award and the Hazardous Material Emergency Preparedness Grant Award.  

An executive session for personnel matters is also scheduled during Tuesday’s meeting, and Commission Administrative Officer Shelli Gust will discuss with commissioners the Opioid Litigation National Settlement, the American Rescue Plan Act funding, and Eide Bailly Consulting Services.  

These appointments and other items of business make up the agenda for the Lake County Commission’s meeting Tuesday morning, starting at 9:00 a.m. in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse.  The meeting is also accessible through the use of Zoom.
