Lake County Commission meeting Tuesday

The Lake County Commission is holding its regular meeting on Tuesday morning. 

On the schedule for commissioners is Teri Jaspers with St. Thomas Aquinas Parish at 9:10 regarding a temporary special on-sale license, and at 9:20 will be the county’s 2021 provisional budget hearing.  

Also tomorrow, Treasurer Deb Walburg will discuss the elderly tax freeze abatement with commissioners, and Human Resource Specialist Shelli Gust will discuss personnel.  Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson is scheduled to meet with commissioners Tuesday to discuss interest applications for the County’s Roads and Bridges Advisory Committee, and a utility occupancy application for Sioux Valley Energy. 

At 10:00 Tuesday, Madison Mayor Marshall Dennert is scheduled to meet with county commissioners to discuss county roads, and at 10:15, the commission will meet as a Board of Adjustment regarding the Findings of Fact in support of it’s motions to approve Hodne Homes, LLC’s variance application.

An executive session for personnel and pending litigation is scheduled for the end of Tuesday’s meeting.

The Lake County Commission meeting begins at 9:00 Tuesday morning in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.
