Homecoming this week at Oldham-Ramona, Rutland, McCook Central, & Montrose

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Several area schools are celebrating homecoming this week.  

Rutland and Oldham-Ramona’s homecoming weeks start off with coronation of homecoming royalty.  Coronation at Rutland is tonight at 7:00 at the Rutland School, and coronation for Oldham-Ramona is Tuesday night at 7:00 in Oldham.  Oldham-Ramona students will also participate in skits in the school’s variety show Tuesday evening also as part of coronation. 

Oldham-Ramona and Rutland will have a homecoming parade on Friday afternoon on Main Street in Ramona starting at 1:45.  Area businesses are welcome to have a float in Friday’s parade. They will just need to contact Kim Hyland at the Oldham-Ramona school to line that up.  A pep rally will be held at the school following the parade on Friday, and the football team will play Chester starting with the junior high game at 4:30 Friday afternoon and the varsity game at 7:00.  

McCook Central and Montrose Schools are also celebrating homecoming this week. Coronation of homecoming royalty was held last night at McCook Central and will be held tonight in Montrose.  There will be a pep rally Friday morning at 10:30 in Montrose with a parade to follow at noon. The parade is then at 2:00 Friday afternoon in Salem. McCook Central Montrose football team will play Sioux Valley for its homecoming game Friday, with a tailgate meal held prior to the game.
