Group attends Madison/DSU Hosts the Legislature event

A group of Madison area residents and Leadership Madison participants made a trip to Pierre on Tuesday as part of the annual Madison/DSU Hosts the Legislature event.

The group was able to tour the Capitol building and sit in on committee meetings and legislative sessions.  They also met briefly with Governor Kristi Noem.  A luncheon with District 8 legislators was held, as well as an evening reception, which was open to all legislators and state officials.
