The state Department of Health reported two additional COVID-19 deaths Friday, putting the state’s total at 1907.  More than 180 new positive coronavirus cases were also reported.  The state’s number of active cases increased to 2163 yesterday, and the number of people hospitalized decreased to 62.  

Lake County reported another three positive COVID-19 cases Friday, along with five recovered cases.  Lake County had 45 active COVID-19 cases as of yesterday.  

Elsewhere in the area, active cases increased Friday in McCook, Kingsbury, and Brookings counties, while Miner and Moody counties stayed steady.
