The state Department of Health reported fifteen COVID-19 deaths on Friday.  In our area, one of the deaths was reported as a Moody County resident.  The state’s total number of COVID-19 deaths is now at 1629.  

Overall, the state reported 425 new positive COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the state’s overall total number of positive cases to just less than 105-thousand.  There are currently just more than 47-hundred active cases, and 227 people are hospitalized.

Lake County reported another ten positive COVID-19 cases Friday, along with four recovered cases.  Lake County now has 55 active cases.

Elsewhere in our area, Moody County reported 41 active COVID-19 cases, Kingsbury County had 33, Miner County reported 28 active COVID-19 cases, and McCook County had 26 active cases as of Friday.  Brookings County yesterday reported 234 active COVID-19 cases.
