The state Department of Health reports just more than 16-hundred new positive COVID-19 cases in the state Friday.  This puts the state’s total number of positive cases and more than 62-thousand, and the number of active cases is now at just more than 18-thousand-600.  One more death has also been reported, and 556 people are currently hospitalized in the state. 

Lake County’s number of new positive COVID-19 cases increased by thirteen Friday, and there are nineteen recovered cases.  This puts Lake County’s totals at 645 positive cases, 408 recovered, and nine deaths.  Lake County now has 228 active cases.

Elsewhere in our area, McCook County reports 182 active COVID-19 cases Friday, Kingsbury County has 127, and Moody County reports 117 active cases.  Brookings County now has 540 active COVID-19 cases, and Miner County has 43.
